Date circa 1925
Description Woman's black silk satin trench coat; off-center closure; wide collar. Long, cuffed sleeves; each cuff has three small covered buttons. Two large covered buttons at waist; one covered button at neck and button loop. One patch pocket on each side of front. Four small covered buttons on top edge (one missing on left pocket). Inverted box pleat at sides. Lined with patterned silk in black, tan, and green Art Deco style on bodice, and lined with black silk at hem. No labels.
Provenance Belonged to the donor's mother, Ruth E. Brinker, a native and resident of Keokuk, Iowa, born 1888.
