Description Multi-part drafting system for dressmaking. No labels.
(a) French curve made of wood; "Place scroll so that indicator points as shown in diagram" printed on it in black on both sides; brown finish. "Minnie" written in pencil on one side.
(b) French curve made of wood; "Place scroll so that indicator points as shown in diagram" printed on it in black on both sides; red-brown finish.
(c) Wedge pattern shape made of wood. Has 3/4" circle cut out from widest end. Each long sides has 2 metal clasps with cardboard rulers attached; each with markings for 10 "units"
(d) Bundle of 27 cardboard strips secured with paper wrapped around middle. Each strip is marked with units and all vary in length.

(f) Tracing wheel with wood handle and rusty metal shaft and serrated wheel.

Provenance Belonged to donor's mother and maternal aunt. They lived on a farm in Western Iowa and sewed clothes for their family.
